GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PAPER & E-POSTER

• Life/Provisional Membership of IMA is mandatory.
• Abstract must be in English having words of 250 only.
• Name of the presenting author to be followed by names of co–authors, maximum of 6 co-authors and lastly name of Institution.
• Please ensure that your abstract is properly structured with correct spellings and grammar.
• Submissions that are not in the prescribed format will not be entertained.
• DO NOT submit the same abstract for Electronic poster and the Scientific oral paper presentation, as this will cause duplicate submissions.
• Ensure that all the changes and correction and proof reading have been carried out before submission
• No changes in the abstract contents and the authorship will be allowed after the final submission.
• All selected presenters will get a participation certificate. Prizes will be awarded for toppers in each category.
• Abstract submission by online submission only.
• All abstracts will be reviewed by the members of the scientific committee and educational committee and will be judged on scientific value, potential clinical value, originality of the work and impact factor.
• The decision of the acceptance / rejection of abstract by the scientific committee is final. No review or revision or influences

GUIDELINES FOR ORAL PAPER ABSTRACT:

• Please do not include references, acknowledgements, graphics, tables or figures in your abstract body.


• The body of the abstract should be structured as follows:
  
  • Aims and objectives
  • Methods and Materials
  • Results
  • Conclusion


• Abstract submission by email or online submission only.
• E-mail should be sent under the subject “Abstract for Oral Paper”.
• All presentation should be prepared on Microsoft 2007 PowerPoint or the later version with maximum 20 slides (Proferred paper, 6 minutes + 2 minutes QA ).
• E-mail should be sent under the subject “Abstract for Oral Paper”.
• Multiple presentations can also be uploaded but on different topics/research.
• All selected presenters will get a participation certificate. Prizes will be awarded for toppers in each category.



GUIDELINES FOR E - POSTER ABSTRACT

• Posters can be submitted in the following categories.



Scientific exhibits

• Scientific presentations are completed hypothesis-driven research with a comprehensive report; a work-in-progress report of ongoing research of emerging ideas and techniques and containing initial yet defined results; or a brief pertinent report of a particular new aspect or understanding of clinical radiology.


• Please submit the abstract with following subheadings –

  • Aims and Objectives
  • Material and Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • Clinical relevance / take home message



Educational exhibits

• Education exhibits should be designed to teach or review important findigns, pathologic correlations, procedures, techniques, treatments, and interventions or other aspects related to the day to day medical practice.


• Please submit the abstract with the following subheadings

  • Contents
  • Imaging findings / procedure
  • Summary and teaching points



Interesting Case

• A case from any medical specialty for academic learning. Focus on unusual, rare, or diagnostically challenging presentations.


• Includes brief relevant clinical history & supported by key representative images/investigations


• Final diagnosis is provided for learning purpose. Highlights important teaching points and differential considerations.


• A case from any medical specialty for academic learning. Focus on unusual, rare, or diagnostically challenging presentations.


• Aims to improve clinical and diagnostic understanding in routine practice.



E-Spotter

• Designed for interactive learning across all medical specialties.


• A series of spotter cases from various disciplines will be displayed on screen.


• Each case will include relevant images along with a brief clinical history.


• Participants are encouraged to observe, interpret, and arrive at the most appropriate diagnosis with key teaching points



E-Sign

• Educational display of classical clinical and radio-pathological signs from all branches of medicine.


• Each e-Sign should include :
